From May to September here in Bournemouth, join our welcoming and high vibing beach wellness community, where every body; no matter your size, shape OR experience level is celebrated!
Beach Yoga is on every Saturday at 9am and Beach Pilates is on every Sunday at 9am. Our Beach Yoga Season runs from May until September every year at Alum Chine Beach. During Winter, we continue our meet ups at sunrise on the turning points of the year.
New to yoga or pilates? No worries! This is a welcoming class for an energising 60-minute class, perfect for mind, body and soul harmony. Kickstart your weekend and encourages a summer of self-love. You can enjoy optional sea dips or connecting with our kind community at the end!
Our beach classes takes place at Alum Chine Beach on the sand opposite the old Vesuvio restaurant and café (now called Alum Beach Hut). There is free parking on Studland Road and all other surrounding roads. We encourage you to walk/cycle if it’s within your means.
Yoga mats aren’t provided, please bring your own one OR Lillie’s top tip is to bring a towel, they are slip free on the hot beach yoga days and easier to get sand off (low maintenance, great hack!). Bring your water bottle. Please arrive 10 minutes before your session.
Prioritise YOU this summer with access to the entire beach season, Saturday Beach Yoga and Sunday Beach Pilates. You'll be able to book every class available in the Summer Beach Season including the Pop Up Sunrise Sessions in June and August!

The first 10 souls to sign up to our season pass will receive a FREE 2026 Loving Life Tote Bag! A little token of our gratitude and something to pop all your beach yoga bits and bobs in. We will email you if you are one of the lucky 10!
Celebrate International Yoga Day and Summer Solstice with our annual sunrise special! This event includes drumming, an energising sunrise flow as the first light kisses the ocean, optional sea dips, community connection and homemade croissants for all participants. FREE for Loving Life Community Members and Full Season Pass Holders
Join us on the sand for a soul-soothing crystal sound bath under the first light of the day. The morning air clear your mind and the frequencies of crystal bowls ripple through your body. Optional sea dips and oracle card pulls are enjoyed after alongside a homemade croissant, of course! Studio members and season pass holders go FREE!
If there is light rain, the class will continue as normal! It can be humbling and wonderfully refreshing - I don’t believe in staying indoors just because it’s raining. However, in the case of weather warnings, storms, or heavy rain, drop-in participants and 5 class pass holders will receive a code to book the next available date that suits them. Going off our previous beach season, I only had to cancel one class due to bad weather.
Nope! You will need to bring your own BUT I am not a huge fan of using yoga mats on the beach anyway so if you don't have one just bring a towel! It is so much easier to get the sand off and if it is a hot day, you wont slip as you may do on a yoga mat. If you do want to get a yoga mat for beach yoga, get a vegan suede mat. These are great for outdoor yoga!
It is a requirement to book your place ahead of the class, this is because I have a number limit which is in line with my BCP council licence, insurance and every participant must complete and sign my waiver upon booking a class. Please note this is for your own health and safety.
All class bookings are non-refundable. You can reschedule your class up until 24 hours before the class. If I have to cancel the class due to severe weather or other extreme circumstances this will be communicated in advance and in this case, credits or rescheduling will be provided.
YES! Great news! The public toilets are near enough opposite where the class takes place so don't worry if you have to pop to the toilet!
YES, fabulous news again! Alum Chine Beach has lots of residential road parking where you can enjoy free parking and there is also a car park at the bottom of the hill.
Children and pets are always welcome. Many parents bring their babies and they often enjoy watching the class. Children are welcome to play next to your mat and it’s common for them to interact with other children at the class. Please note that by bringing your child or pet, you do so at your own risk. I am not responsible for any injury or incident involving your child or pet during the class. Additionally, please ensure you check the weather and make sure it is safe and comfortable for them, especially on hot days.
